In Indigenous communities, the impact of the Missing and Murdered is deeply felt. However, CINC and the Cahuilla Consortium, together are committed to prioritizing healing as a crucial step in our journey forward. By participating in talking circles, we’re not just healing individually but also strengthening the bonds within our community. Each step we take toward healing empowers us to make positive changes. It’s important to remember that addressing MMIW/MMIP requires us to first take care of ourselves spiritually and emotionally, ensuring we have the resilience needed for the journey ahead.
