About the Fire Gala
The Fire Gala is California Indian Nations College’s premier annual fundraising and community celebration event. Now in its third year, the Gala brings together Native and non-Native students, educators, Tribal leaders, and allies from across Southern California and beyond to support the advancement of culturally grounded, academically rigorous higher education. The name “Fire Gala” reflects the fire of resilience, sovereignty, and Native excellence that fuels the work of CINC and its students.
The goal of the Fire Gala is simple yet powerful: to raise critical funds that support scholarships, academic programming, student services, and cultural initiatives that empower Indigenous learners. By contributing to this event—whether through sponsorship, ticket purchases, or auction participation—guests directly invest in the next generation of Native leaders and changemakers. Every year, the Fire Gala grows in reach and impact, celebrating those who make CINC’s mission possible.
