While pursuing Candidacy for Accreditation, CINC is ineligible to offer Title IV Student Aid. For the 2024-2025 Academic Year, students pursuing all CINC degrees are not eligible for Title IV Student Aid, such as Pell Grants or Federal Work-Study.
Because CINC students are dually enrolled with College of the Desert, they may choose to pursue Financial Aid, including Title IV, through College of the Desert.

COD Classes
CINC students are typically not assessed tuition for CINC classes. A tuition charge may appear on the student’s COD Student Bill, but it is cleared approximately halfway through the semester.
If a CINC student enrolls in a COD-only class (a class that is not administered by CINC), they are responsible for all costs associated with the class.
Pell Grants
Students who choose to apply for a Pell Grant through the College of the Desert are advised that the lifetime eligibility limit for a Pell Grant is six years. Students who intend to transfer to a four-year institution should consider the lifetime limit when deciding if they should use a year of Pell eligibility while at CINC.

Scholarships
Students are encouraged to apply for outside funding. Some scholarships (e.g., Theresa A. Mike Scholarship) can be administered by CINC. Others will need to be administered through College of the Desert. Check with the scholarship grantor to determine which institution can process your scholarship.
COD Financial Aid
Students are advised that any financial aid they receive through COD is based on their status as a student at that institution and CINC does not have any insight into COD’s student accounts. We can only provide limited assistance to students on matters related to COD financial aid. Students should be aware of COD requirements, including disbursement dates. This information can be found on their website.
