SMS Terms and Conditions
1. Program Description
California Indian Nations College (CINC) offers SMS messaging as a service to provide students, applicants, faculty, and staff with important, time-sensitive college information.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary based on your enrollment or employment status and the nature of communications but typically ranges from 1–4 messages per week.
3. Costs
CINC does not charge for this service. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
4. Opt-In and Opt-Out
- You opt in by replying YES to an initial message or by requesting SMS communication through a CINC form or platform.
- To opt out at any time, reply STOP. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent.
- For help, reply HELP or contact our support team at IT@CINCollege.org.
5. Supported Carriers
Messaging is supported by most major U.S. wireless carriers. CINC is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Changes to Terms
CINC reserves the right to update these terms. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance.
