California Indian Nations College and College of the Desert view disability as an important aspect of diversity and are committed to providing equitable access to learning opportunities for all students. Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) is the office that collaborates with students with disabilities to provide reasonable accommodations. Individuals who request accommodations should contact Melissa Hernandez, Dean of Student Affairs, at California Indian Nations College at DSA@CINCollege.org to help facilitate needed supports but may also directly contact the DSPS office at COD at (760) 773-2534, dspsinfo@collegeofthedesert.edu, or visit CSSC Room 101 for more information. Once registered with DSPS, students will be provided with a DSPS Faculty Notification Letter that can be shared with faculty. If reaching out to DSPS directly, students may also CC Dean Hernandez so that she can aid with setting up accommodations. This step is advised but not required.
