About the Student Success Center

Student Success is tasked with providing incoming and current CINC students holistic support and services in order to ensure their success both inside and outside of the classroom and offers programs, workshops, tutoring, and one-on-one support to support students. The workshops and programs include, but are not limited to, navigating Populi and Canvas, accessing resources like our MiFi and textbook loan program, writing workshops, basic Microsoft skills workshops, and academic integrity and citation workshops. Student Success supports cultural and community-building programming and workshops that enrich the student’s experience while at CINC.

Welcome to CINC!

We extend our warmest greetings to you as you embark on this exciting journey through higher education. The Student Success Department is here to support and guide you throughout your college experience and assist you with accomplishing your goals.

Our dedicated team in Student Success is committed to encouraging an inclusive and vivid campus environment. We believe in the power of community, diversity, and student engagement to enhance your overall college experience.

Here is a glimpse of what you can expect from Student Success:

  1. Orientation Program: We offer a comprehensive orientation program at the beginning of each semester designed to introduce you to our campus, academic expectations, and the numerous opportunities available to you.
  2. Support Services: We are here to assist with removing obstacles to your education. In the event that you face life challenges, we can assist you with resources such as tutoring, accessibility services, mental health, and food banks.
  3. Student Engagement: We encourage opportunities for our students to collaborate with their peers and CINC staff. This includes programs such as student government, book clubs, and talking circles.
  4. Events and Activities: Every term we promote a wide array of events and activities including academic and cultural workshops, financial literacy, community service projects, nature hikes, and museum visits.
