Join the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Diversity for a conversation with Sandy Kewanhaptewa-Dixon (Hopi), Professor and Chair of Ethnic and Women’s Studies Department, on Native American/American Indian/Tribal Peoples and the educational system. This discussion will explore identity, the “master narrative,” how indigenous peoples’ truths are often minimized in education and how connecting cultural, political and personal “ways of being” allows stories to be told.
